Our History

Nestled not far from the beautiful shores of Anastasia Beach, where the salty breeze carries echoes of the past, a dream was born in 2019 a dream to revive the golden era of arcade gaming and bring the magic of the ‘80s arcade scene to the community of Saint Augustine Beach.

That dream became Anastasia Island’s Arcade Museum, a place where nostalgia meets cutting-edge entertainment, and where the glow of neon lights welcomes gamers of all ages.

The Humble Beginnings

It all started with just a handful of machines, a passion for classic gaming, and a vision to create a space where people could relive their childhood memories and share those recollections. All while creating new experiences with their families and other members of the community.

Our original arcade was small, just a cozy spot filled with

the unmistakable sounds of Pac-Man’s chomping, Donkey Kong’s barrels rolling, and the satisfying clack of flippers

on a few classic pinball machines.

It wasn’t just about playing games—it was about recreating the social experience of an era when arcades were more than just entertainment; they were community hubs, battlegrounds for high scores, and places of pure joy.

A Growing Legacy

Word spread fast, and soon, gamers, families, and nostalgia-seekers alike began to flock to the arcade. We expanded our collection, adding more pinball tables, vintage cabinets, and even mechanical arcade games from past decades.

As interest grew, so did the need for more space, and before long, Anastasia Island’s Arcade Museum needed to move into what has now become the largest arcade on the island. A now must-visit destination for both locals and tourists looking to immerse themselves in gaming history.

But we didn’t stop at just old-school classics. To keep up with the evolving gaming world, we also introduced modern arcade games, blending the past and present to offer an experience unlike any other. Whether you’re looking to master the high-speed challenge of a racing game, test your reflexes in a shooter, or relive your youth on a legendary pinball machine, our arcade has something for everyone.
